4. Thule Shine

Thule is a brand well-known for its stylish and practical products, and the Shine stroller is no different. It is one of the lightest strollers available on the market, and it feels sturdy and solid to hold despite its minimalist design. It's also extremely versatile, with the ability to be used from birth thanks to the accessories that come with it that convert it into a bassinet, Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest and a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories are sold separately).

In contrast to other lightweight strollers that are lighter, the Shine does not disappoint in terms of cargo storage, either. The 22-pound capacity of the Shine allows you to take everything you need on a day trip without having to worry about leaving anything behind.

It's also easy to put together, with the back wheels securing to the main frame straight out of the box. The bassinet is easy to attach and has handles similar to those found on a Moses basket. And when you're done the pram folds to an elegant and compact size, allowing you to fit it into the smallest of vehicles.

Thule's canopy air purifier is also an impressive feature. It has a built-in air filter that gets rid of dust, bacteria, viruses, pollen and other nasty things. The company claims it can remove 150 litres of air per minute, and it can be connected to an app that shows the air quality in your area.

The only issue is the price. Even though it's cheaper than other 2 in 1 prams it still costs more than PS1,000 for the entire kit. It's a bit difficult to swallow when there are alternatives like the Thule Spring, which is smaller and lighter and costs half as much.

The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary and I have seen them put to the test at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. They drop prams from heights and then crash them down slopes, and then take them on bumpy trails in the snow to test their quality and strength. They certainly look good!
